Visual Merchandising Study Case...:)

February Market was the first market in 2012. This time also the first time to be single
in the booth. My friend was unwell. It was nice morning when we set up the booth at 8 am.
I like to arrange and change the look of my booth everytime. Look at me I was so serious...:).
It is visual merchandising study...:P

The wind was still mild in the morning. But sometimes it blows a bit harder...as shown in my table cloth.
I knew from forecast it was going to be big gust in the afternoon ( after 12pm). My plan was I will open my booth
before that the strong wind comes. At least I had 3 hours I thought.

I had set the sturdy pull-toy ( red one), then the ladder, but unsure about the little chair.
The gust was getting harder on 11 pm. Maybe it was 25-30km/h ?
It blowed girl dolls in my right side. The 2 fishes on the top rack were blown too.
At that time my hubby and the children went to Diamond creek to buy newspapers.
I struggled holding the rack and the wicker basket.

Then I moved slowly to put the ladder down, opened my container and put the dolls one by one on the container.
All the dolls saved on the container...:). Safe and sound. Hurray!
Hoping there will be no such a strong wind anymore in the next and next market...!
But anyway lesson learnt.... I should make my display more STURDY not only nice to see...:).

Hair-do crochet girl doll...

I always want to make girl or boy doll...But  as you noticed they usually came with hats..:).
Once I tried making the doll with the hair with no hat. My children called her " Beefy".

I remembered I made Jelly fish dolls.

Based on that curly I made the hair for my girl doll. This is my first doll with the curly hair:

Then I kept continuing with other summer color....:). I heard that this year tangerine is favourite color..

So the other girl doll is coming with the tangerine color...:). How about Carrot color?
Look.. they are so sweet as fruit and vegie ...:).

The skirts have been modified into tier skirts....:).
Let's name them....How about Tangy, Browny, and Karly?
