Give Color tape on your hook



These hooks have different size. Although they have been engraved the size on the body of the hook, I preferred top gave color on the handle. It is easier to remember the color as long as we go on a project than remembering the number of the hook. I put this on after I accidently took a different hook on one project.

I noticed my mistake after the project almost finished. If you look carefully you can see the difference. I used the 3.5 hook on the light blue than accidently change to 4.0 on dark blue.

Polyfill dispenser

I usually buy a bulk of polyfill. But when I am making dolls I dont want this big 'pillow' to my table.

So I put on the polyfill on wet-tissues dispenser. I enlarged the hole so that I can easily to take it out. It is good when you are making small dolls. 

Hiding the KNOT

When making dolls I like to use embroidery or felt to make eyes and mouth. Sometimes I saw the eye before stuff with poplyfiber but sometime I couldnt. It happened when I was unsure where the best position for the eyes and mouth.

First you sew the mouth. Start from left eye to start than end with the right eye. Put the knot on the eyes position. Then you cover it with the eyes...:).

Taa...daaa...You cant see the knot....:).

FYI the green yarn is stich marker I havent removed it when took the picture.
