90% Imagination and 10% Toy

Kids need to play with toys that dont require push buttons! A good toy is 90% children and only 10% toy.
- Susan Linn " The case for make believe".

I was so happy that last year has ended with happy ending. I got a feedback email from my customer. He send me the pictures how his son played with the doll that he bought in Wattle Festival. I asked his permission and he let me show the pictures of his creative son.

My troops didnot come back..:)

This morning was very beautiful day. The forecast said it would be shower or two....but It didn't...:).
I had lovely morning. My table was next to my friend, Alessandra and young manga artist 'Lizzie'. We shared stories and had a lot of visitors and of course finally I met Nicole who organized Spring Sunday Market. It was fantastic.

I couldnt made any good pictures as my phone is not so 'smart' and I didnot bring camera. My stall position gave backlight effect on the photo. But if you visit CPS Op Shop you will see the sunday spring market photos much better.

These were some of my troops this morning.

Some of them didnot come back with me. They found good homes...:).
Thank you everybody...:).

Little Red Riding Hood

Suddenly I missed to make girly doll after making many animals dolls. Last summer I made 3 girl dolls..then I revisited the pattern that I made, I wanted to make "Little Red Riding Hood". I have made 2 kinds of finger puppet but haven't made the tag-along-doll.

This is the prototype:

I thought the hair do is a bit too much for her. It was hard to put on the hood. This time I thought the felt will be good for the hood.I should find the wool-blend felt for the better quality than acrylic one then I should think another hair-do for this doll....:).
